One of San Francisco’s most beloved culinary institutions, Cotogna is the quintessential neighborhood spot. Italian for “quince” — a playful reference to its three-Michelin-starred sister restaurant next door — Cotogna has fostered a loyal following since its opening in 2010.
Chef Michael Tusk features seasonally-driven regional Italian cuisine with a forever-changing selection of house-made pasta, spit-roasted and grilled meats from the wood-burning oven, local fish and shellfish, and produce coming directly from the restaurant’s own farm in West Marin.
Cotogna has been awarded a Michelin bib gourmand year after year, and is recognized as one of Zagat’s 50 Best Restaurants in San Francisco, as well as one of San Francisco Chronicle’s Top 100 Restaurants.
